Xiaomi is a Chesnee Android OEM smartphone makes and is one of the companies achieving the success in India. The company had gained a record in India with the Redmi Note 3, and they did it again with the release of the Redmi Note 4 as well. Xiaomi knows that in India, more people would rather walk into an offline store to see the product and get it hand on before purchasing over buying smartphones online. Therefore, the company decided to sell some of its smartphones in a range of offline retail outlets instead of online store throughout India. This happed with the Redmi 3S+ last year, but Xiaomi now wants to have its own offline retail store and after a long expectation, Xiaomi has officially announced their first offline retail store in India, and it is scheduled to be introduced to the public at 9:00 AM IST on May 20th.
The Phoenix Market City Mall in Bengaluru will be the place putting the first of Xiaomi’s offline retail stores. According to the announcement, not only smartphones but power banks, smart fitness bands, headphones, air purifiers, and even “other ecosystem products” which the company plans to launch in India are also sold here. For those who like making a pre-order before the store is opened, you will be able to do this from next week at the Indian landing page of the company with a deal up to INR 1,000.
However, there will not be only Mi Home retail store in India as Xiaomi is intending to open more 100 offline stores over the next two years in other big cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai. Xiaomi has been gaining a lot of success with these offline retail stores in their home country with the currently over 70 locations in Greater China.
