A new Sony phone with the model number G8141 has recently been leaked on Geekbench with the Snapdragon 835 processor , which could be one of the smartphones to be shown off at the IFA next month. Although the Geekbench listing does not actually mention the processor as the Snapdragon 835, it’s listed as the MSM8998, which is the model name of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset.
Additionally, the CPU is also listed as an 8-core chip clocked at 1.90 GHz. Moreover, the Geekbench’s results show that the device is equipped 4GB of RAM and pre-installed Android 7.1.1 Nougat in terms of software.
Until now, there isn’t much information about the phone except for the hardware in these results, but they display that the device score 1909 points in a single-score test and 6449 in the multi-score test. Though there is no way of confirming exactly about the device, which previous rumors have suggested that Sony is going to a smartphone at IFA, this particular device would absolutely be a smartphone. The G8441 model number has been leaked a couple of times earlier this month. The first on July 5th is found in the UAProf, and the other on July 6th is on AnTuTu.

The AnTuTu leak could make many people interesting as it shows some of the hardware information relating the phone. According to the benchmark results, the G8441 will run on the Snapdragon 835 processor, and instead of Android 7.1.1 Nougat, the device is said to ship with Android O 8.0. the rest of the specs include two 8-megapixel camera snappers (one for the back and one for the front), 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of inbuilt storage. A quick look on Geekbench with the same model number has no results, so it cannot match up with the details on AnTuTu, but both of these phones would seemingly come with the same lineup.
