Along with the rollout of iOS 10.3.3, Apple today released a trio of new software updates for Mac, Apple Watch, and the fourth-generation Apple TV, including macOS Sierra 10.12.6, watchOS 3.2.3 and tvOS 10.2.2.
These updates only include bug fixes, performance enhancement, and security improvement for your devices, so you should not expect any significant changes or a new interface in this version. Here is the list of the security patches in macOS Sierra 10.12.6, watchOS 3.2.3 and tvOS 10.2.2 and the quick guide to update it on your device
You can update your Mac to macOS Sierra 10.12.6 version by going to Mac App Store and clicking on the Updates tab. Here you will see the full installer that is available to download at some point in the Mac App Store’s Purchased section.
To install tvOS 10.2.2 for Apple TV, simply go to Settings → System → Software Updates on your TV and select the Check for Update option. If there is an update you will see a message saying “Download and Install and read the onscreen instruction to get the update. If you want to set your Apple TV for automatically checking for new software updates, turn the option Update Automatically on in Settings → System → Software Updates.
The watchOS 3.2.3 must be installed through the Watch app on your iPhone that you paired with your Watch. Simply tap the My Watch tab at the bottom, head to General → Software Update. Now, tap Download and Install, enter your iPhone passcode, and then agree the official terms and conditions. The WatchOS 3.2.3 update will start downloading to your Apple Watch.
However, before starting, you must ensure that you need to charge your Watch’s battery to at least 50 percent, or connect it to the charging disk while still pairing it to iPhone in order for the software update to complete. The update process will take a long time to finish so feel free to enjoy yourself with a cup of coffee.
