A lot of attentions are being paid for the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 and LG V30, but for those who are Motorola fans, they have been looking forward to the launch of the Moto X4. The first details of the phone were back in May when a photo revealed some details about the phone. According to the image, the Moto X4 comes with a metal and glass build, along with a “smart camera,” IP68 water and dust resistant, AI integration, and always-on voice abilities.
As Motorola did not release a Moto X in 2016, which piqued the community. However, the Moto X4 would be the mysterious “mid-tier” device that it’s said by the Project Fi team that the phone would be launched this year with the support for their network. If it’s true, it would be very interesting as only devices from Google were able to use the Project Fi network.
One week ago, Evan Blass revealed the hardware specs of the upcoming Moto X4. If it becomes true, we can expect a smartphone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC, along with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, a 5.2″ FullHD display, an 8MP/12MP dual camera at the back, 16MP selfie snapper. Powering the phone is a 3,000mAh capacity battery. This reveal seems to line up with rumors from the Project Fi team with the statement of the IP68 water resistance.
This week, the device is passing through the certification process, we hope it will be sold to the public soon. It seems that Motorola is ready to release the device soon as it has now been received the improvement for sale in Brazil. Besides that information, there is also a live photo of the device.
