Last couples of weeks, there were some leaked images about the Meizu PRO 7 with a secondary E-ink display. Now, we’ve seen real life image of a functioning device. There are a number of Meizu PRO 7 renders, as well as images, but all of them are different. Now, the latest image shows off the secondary E-ink display placed on the back of the alleged Meizu PRO 7.
This secondary display will be placed at the dual camera setup on the back, and it does not take up much space, which is not different too much compared to the Yotaphone smartphone with a huge E-ink display at the back. According to some rumors, the secondary display on Meizu Pro 7 will be used to show the time, date, weather info, as well as notifications. Moreover, it also allows setting up several info pages on that display. The Meizu PRO 7 will own a full metal body, and its volume up, volume down and power buttons will stay on the right side. The device also comes with the mBack multifunctional home key.
In terms of specs, the Meizu PRO 7 is expected to feature a 5.2-inch fullHD or QHD AMOLED display. Furthermore, the device will also be shipped with 4GB / 6GB of RAM and be powered by the MediaTek Helio X30 64-bit deca-core chipset, if rumors are true. Its battery capacity will be larger than 3,000mAh , and there will be a dual 12-megapixel snappers at the back. The phone will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow or Android 7.0 Nougat with the Meizu’s Flyme UI on top. Although there is not info about when the Meizu PRO 7 will see the light of day, the phone is expected to hit the markets in the coming weeks.
