The Honor 8 was one of the most successful Huawei smartphones last year and was even added a Pro variant to continue its success. And today, after a long wait, Honor introduced the Honor 9 as the successor of the Honor 8. The new Android flagship comes with several changes and improvements while still keeping the traditional glass body that makes this phone more impressive over the rest. The new Honor 9 features a dual camera setup on the back with two 20MP and 12MP sensors, which makes it become one of the best cameras from Honor so far. The camera will absolutely capture more detail and get more light than the Honor 8.
The Kirin 960 is a fast chipset powering this new device. There will be two options of RAM including 4GB or 6GB of and a new Mali-G71 MP8 GPU. These specs are ideal for playing games and it is one of the fastest all-around phones. This high-end specs will be controlled by Android Nougat with the latest EMUI 5.1 layout on top.
One thing that made the Honor 8 successful was its glass body standing out with bold reflections. To inherit the success, the Honor 9 continues to own this design with the same reflective body. In terms of color option, the phone will go on sale in Glacier Grey, Sapphire Blue and Midnight Black.
Finally, the price for the Honor 9 is very reasonable with the price tag at £379.99 (around $480). This price makes the phone become a big competitor to the recently OnePlus 5, which is similar in specs and cost.
