The Galaxy Note 7R, the latter ill-fated Galaxy Note 7 is expected to be set in stone (“R” for refurbished), but Samsung named the device as Galaxy Note FE, “FE” referring “Fan Edition.”
After leaking photos of the refurbished device, then it appears the release for the launch of the smartphone. According to a recent leak, the official Galaxy Note FE will be introduced on July 7th, which is different with the earlier claim that the Note FE smartphone would roll out by the end of June. Previously, the phone was scheduled to land on the market on June 30th but it was then delayed due to a larger demand of units to mobile carriers than the expectation (around 450,000 units over 300,000 original units).
The Samsung Galaxy Note FE is expected to retail for 699,600 won (about $630) at the launch time, but the new price tag will come from 740,000 to 760,000 won (between $653 and $671 USD). The Galaxy Note FE will have the same specs as the ill-fated Galaxy Note 7, just with an exception that the 3,500mAh battery has been cut down to 3,200mAh capacity.
Finally, the new Galaxy Note FE will interestingly come equipped Bixby Voice and Bixby Home. Bixby is Samsung’s artificial intelligence (AI), which the company has spent 8 years to work on the voice command assistant. Bixby on the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ can provide all information about an object when taking a photo of Bixby Vision, remind important calendar dates, help you easily voice type an email or text message, and even take screenshots of an image.
